Phillip shut the door to his office at the shadow base. It was late, and he was tired from dealing with another crisis. He noticed the time was wrong on multiple devices. A voice on his walkie-talkie, supposedly from his colleague Rowdy, contacted him, but Rowdy was on vacation. Strange noises and a song from a record player added to the unsettling atmosphere. He saw an unblinking presence in his window and pursued it into the woods, eventually encountering a mysterious figure.
