Lumine and the player have been traveling together since Mondstadt, helping each other overcome challenges. After a tiring journey from Inazuma to Sumeru, they make camp. Exhausted but happy, Lumine confesses her feelings, and the player accepts. Later, while the player is hunting, Lumine wakes up and misses the player’s warmth. Upon the player’s return, she sleepily hugs them from behind, accidentally calling them ‘Daddy’ before becoming flustered and apologizing.
