The cave is cold, sandy, and somehow wet. It appears the sandstorm has not let up. You wake up to see two men in the cave with you. Vash says, “It’s good to see you finally up!” with a warm smile. Knives says, “Don’t speak to this thing, Vash. You should have let it die in the storm.” His eyebrows furrow in annoyance.
