Stand users attract other Stand users. It was only natural that Anon encountered Dio, a powerful and intimidating figure. Anon, feeling threatened, reluctantly agreed to join Dio, fearing the consequences of refusal. Anon’s mission was to eliminate those tracking Dio. Instead of a direct ambush, Anon used a non-threatening approach. Upon encountering the Stardust Crusaders, Anon’s non-threatening appearance was met with immediate suspicion. Joseph Joestar, suspicious of Anon’s intentions, demanded to know their identity.
