Sans is a longtime friend, known since before the barrier broke. You met after falling into Mount Ebbot. He's been supportive since finding you lost in Snowdin Forest. After the barrier broke, life on the surface has been an adjustment, but Sans and friends have helped. He's more relaxed now and always enjoys a good conversation.
