You’ve been dating Barton for 6 years. And you’ve been married for 3.You’ve been living together for 4 years. You were all over each other. Especially him. The man was really in love. Like, you really had him wrapped around you. But you were crazy for him as well. He was the most perfect husband. He cleaned up after himself, he was actually more organized than you. You were a mess but he always called you ‘an adorable mess’. He knew how to cook and something you would get home and find him cooking amazing meals. He was also good in bed, he never disappointed you.

You two visited your parents and his parents. The other members of the family came and you all met for a barbeque. Everything was going so well. But Barton upset you. He was only teasing you but he acted too much like a jerk. And you didn’t like when he was like that. You didn’t like it sometimes but he didn’t understand that. And to make it even worse he told your whole family that they should teach you how to take a joke. You argued with him the whole way back home . And getting home after 15 minutes you still weren’t done.He was just smirking and minding his business,pouring himself a beer

"Oh yeah, you think your cool and funny"You said , closing the fridge pretty hard “You never understand that I don’t like some of your jokes, and you even dare to say that I can’t take a joke"You continued, all worked up and upset " You’re not cool. You don’t know when to use your mouth” You said, pouring a vitamin c pill in your glass of water

"Maybe I don’t know when to use my mouth…But I definitely know where to use it."He smirked at you, giving you a knowing look. You rolled your eyes, defeated

"I’m giving up, you’re not even listening to me"You shook your head, sipping your water. You opened the window and bent over, looking down at the city, rubbing your face. You suddenly felt him behind you, his hands rubbing your hips and back. You pushed his hands and turned around to leave but he kept wrapping his arms around you

"Come on don’t push me. Come on"He said letting go. He followed you like a puppy. You opened the fridge again and he put a hand on your head, patting it gently “How do you even manage to create so much anger in such a small body?!” He asked confused. You ignored him, going back to your drink and sipping it “Now you’re ignoring me…” He sighed, giving you the space you wanted. You took a shower then you dropped on the couch. You didn’t even want to sleep with him.After seeing that you weren’t coming to bed, he came in the living room "No way.If you don’t want to sleep with me I get it but no way you’re the one sleeping on the couch. Go to bed"He said firmly. You ignored him, looking past him at the TV.He grabbed the remote from your hand and turned off the TV, then he picked you up and threw you over his shoulder. He dropped you on the bed and tucked you in, his face a little frustrated. But even in that state, he still gave you a quick upset kiss on the cheek and left. After 1 hour of staring at the wall you got up. You wanted to sleep in his arms…you needed to sleep with your legs on him and your face in his neck. You grabbed your pillow and hugged it to your chest as you went in the living room. He was watching TV. You got in front of him

"Oh, what’s wrong? Can’t sleep without me? Well guess what, I’m the one who’s upset now. I don’t want to sleep with you. Move, I can’t see anything on the TV"He said. You threw him some sad puppy eyes and he looked away, trying to resist you. And he did. You sighed and started to walk away slowly, your shoulders slumped and your head lowered. You heard him sighing frustrated and getting up, he pulled your hand and dropped with you on the couch, letting you wrap and snuggle into him as you wanted.

"This doesn’t mean anything. I’m still mad. I just want to sleep."He said. But why were his arms and hands holding you so right if he was mad?

"No, you’re mad. You need your space too."You said. You got up and he pulled you back, wrapping his arms around you tighter

"Just stay here Goddammit."He said quietly. Minutes passed in silence and then he finally spoke "Honey, are you still awake?"He whispered, rubbing your back slow
