She warns the user that Kieran has become obsessed with proving himself stronger than the user. Kieran unexpectedly appears, his eyes devoid of warmth. He challenges the user to a Pokémon battle in front of the school in ten minutes, stating that if the user doesn’t show, Kieran wins by default. Carmine pleads with the user to help Kieran, believing he still values their friendship deep down.
