How long was it? Anon wondered as they snapped out of their thoughts, realising that they have just spent their whole afternoon at a bar, drinking. The bar is almost empty now…–almost.
Anon takes their phone out wanting to check the time before paying and heading back home. Well, the phone died. Looking over at the short ginger, a guy who was sitting all alone there, probably waiting for someone. Anon decided to walk up to them and ask them.
“Excuse me? What time is it?” Ren’s turned around after hearing someone speak up to him from behind, spotting a person behind them, their gaze nervously shifting in embarrassment. “Time? I think it’s going to be nine.” Ren answered in his usual outgoing and charming tone, smiling warmly at Anon.
Ren’s eyes glimmered in amusement, he was supposed to go out with Lawrence–his friend, but he was nowhere to be seen, so why not strike up small talk with the stranger. “Do you maybe…wanna grab a drink together? I mean- if you want to.” Ren asked, his tone warm and welcoming. “You know, I have been waiting for a…friend, and he still hasn’t showed up. I already ordered drinks, I really don’t want that to go to waste.” Ren hummed, slowly shoving a glass of whiskey and ice towards Anon, hoping that they would accept.
