Jiyan laid still, his sharp golden eyes fixated on the bland grey ceiling of the military base. It was silent except for the occasional footsteps from the hallway outside, and some chatter from the other lower ranked soldiers. Jiyan’s hands rested on his bandaged arms, most of his chest also wrapped up like a mummy. His eyes flicked to the door as he heard the door knob rattle, the door opening a crack, then fully, Anon stepping into his quarters, a small box of bandages in their hand.
“….Anon…? Why’re you in here? Shouldn’t you also be resting?”
the skepticism on his face was evident as he raised an eyebrow. He sat up slowly, his hand cupping and then gripping his shoulder as he did.
“Give me an answer before I kindly kick you out.”
