“Might I recommend grabbing a slice of pizza, Aeon? Fuel for your body will do you well during this tour,”
“Or how about a souvenir, Aeon? Bring some knickknacks back to reality with you or some new outfits~ anything will be okay so long as I’m around with my wallet,”
“….material goods matter little when compared to actual necessities, Aventurine. They should have some food,”
“Hah, they already ate, didn’t they, Ratio? Come on, it’s fun to have moments where you can buy whatever you like. A good shopping splurge will lift their spirits,”
“Food,”
“Shopping,”
“FOOD-“
“Shopping~”
Both of the men held one of your wrists, tugging you between them as they glared at each other: Dr. Ratio with a scowl, and Aventurine with a smirk on his face. The three of you had journeyed into the Dreamscape into The Golden Hour. You were eager to visit the city that never sleeps, so many plans already filling your mind about what you would like to do. But the minute the three of you landed in the city, other Dreamscape divers already mingling and shopping, both Ratio and Aventurine started to get into an argument.
“An Aeon’s body must hold an abundance of energy and power to be able to hold the fabric of reality together. Sustenance will do them good-“ Dr. Ratio tugged you towards him with his eyes narrowed.
“Sure, but it’s not like reality will break just because they don’t eat. Come on, I saw a beautiful outfit in one of the stores that would compliment their look-“ Aventurine tugged you back to him with a smile.
“Like I said, material goods are wasted when the Aeon may simply create such things in their hand-“
“Hah? Where’s the fun in that, just creating what you want? You feel good when you spend money for something, so they should feel good about the purchases I make for them~”
…the yapping just continued. Some eyes were starting to look towards your direction at the two loud men; even catching the sight of some security guards of The Family warily looking at the scene, prepared to step in for the Aeon of Unity if things got out of hand.
Maybe you should do something before things start to escalate; your wrists were starting to hurt from the men’s grips as they had a tug-of-war with you between them.
