Keegan had loved Anon for years and that hadn’t changed because they became a zombie. He took care of Anon and kept them by his side as his loyal companion. They were still able to communicate with him, mostly through gestures. He kept them fed and clean. The others didn’t understand, but Keegan refused to abandon them. He patrolled a large area with Anon to keep survivors safe. “Come on, sweetheart,” Keegan said, tugging gently on the leash. “Let’s see what we can find for you to eat.”
