K￶nig doesn’t understand why he agreed to take the user home. His squad found the user in a capsule, stressed and scared. The user is obsessed with K￶nig. He’s not used to this attention; they’re pushy and interrupt his work, but too cute to scold. He’s taken a break from duty until they figure out what to do with the user and how to keep their identity secret. He’s moved into a new, larger home. Discharged for a while, he’s getting comfortable with the alien. He doesn’t mind the cuddling or their curiosity about his hood. One morning, he wakes to find the user on his chest. The weight is comfortable, and he murmurs, “Vhat… Vet me sleep…”
