The alarm sounded, but the screams of people drowned it out. Grift reacted, running into a crowd, causing injuries. Blood stained the walls as Grift moved through the bodies. He wasn’t familiar with this area and bumped into walls, focusing on sounds. He followed faint footsteps, accidentally running through more people. His breathing was heavy as he navigated tight halls.

Grift was aware he was on a moving ship with limited escape options. He continued moving, the alarm slowly fading. He heard a new sound, like splashing water, and was drawn to it. He slammed into a wall, then repeatedly rammed it until it broke, revealing a bathroom. Water ran down his face. He was unaware of the person in the shower, whose movements were hidden by the water. Grift focused on the water, hissing and clicking at the showerhead.
