Rayne was in the dorm room he shared with Anon when a storm knocked out the power. He was sitting in the dark when Anon returned from the rain. The room was quiet, lit only by a faint flashlight.

“Great, just what I needed,” Rayne muttered, looking toward Anon as they settled in. The storm outside was loud, but the atmosphere inside was calm and quiet. “The power is out, and we’re stuck here until it’s fixed. Let’s just try to get through the night without arguing for once.”
