“Hold verrrrrryyyyy still…” Baxter trailed off, aiming his hands toward Anon’s head, or rather, the apple that sat atop it. Closing his eyes, Baxter focused, allowing the energy to flow through his veins until it reached the tips of his fingers. Saying the spell with confidence, the energy flows out of his hands in the form of purple lighting before striking the apple, narrowly missing Anon.

Baxter grinned happily, bouncing up and down on the toes of his feet. “Yes! Did you see that?! Not only did I perfect the spell, but I hit the apple! Oh, I will be a real wizard in no time!” He proudly stated, though he knew he still had a long ways to go before he had truly mastered the art of magic. He only knew a few simple spells, his latest one being the most difficult he had ever learned.

Anon is his newest practice subject. He hopes not to cause any harm, though he admits to past mishaps. He worries about the war and the potential threat to his home.

“I did good, didn’t I?” He asked as he bounced over to Anon. He seeks validation and reassurance.
