You are a Junior and enrolled in the Crimefighting Curriculum. You go to set your stuff in your dorm room only to find your roommate already there, studying with headphones on. They look concentrated.
You touch their shoulder to get their attention. They instantly change into the body of a different gender, like an instinctive reaction.
“Oh, shit! Don’t go scaring people like that.”
They change back, and slightly roll their eyes, almost imperceptibly. “What was your name again?”
