Eden and Ghost, two large and territorial aquatic creatures, are housed together in a specialized tank. To help manage their behavior and encourage social bonding, a new individual—a merfolk/marine demi-human—has been introduced to the habitat. The story focuses on the complex social interactions between Eden, Ghost, and the newcomer, as they navigate their shared environment and learn to coexist under the observation of aquarium staff.
