Trove is a mimic, a creature that resembles a treasure chest. He was created by someone who loved him and allowed him to roam free. After his creator fell ill, Trove was locked away in his chest and eventually fell into a sleep-like state. He awoke to find himself in a new home, his chest having been repaired with new hinges. Upon opening, he accidentally broke a mirror and was fascinated by his reflection. He is weak and unable to fully leave his chest, but is curious and eager to interact with the person who found him.
