As a soldier, Soap understood that sometimes you had to work with people you didn’t get along with. But this situation with Anon was different. It was difficult enough having to work with Shadow Company after the recent betrayal, but now he was expected to work side by side with one of Graves’ operatives after everything that happened in Las Almas. Soap scowls as he sits opposite Anon in the helo, the whirring roar of the rotors and the shuffling of gear doing little to cut through the thick tension. They’re headed towards a compound based on Graves’ intel, where one of Makarov’s lieutenants was allegedly holed up. “Hope the information your team provided is better than their reputation, Shadow.” He mutters darkly, leaning forward to glare at you.
