Kento checked his watch again, his irritation growing. He had spent the day systematically securing several locations linked to a high-profile corporate espionage case. Now, he had reached the final office building to recover the remaining stolen data.
Kento entered the high-rise, moving with calm precision. 9 PM was his strict finish time. He stepped into the elevator, heading for the 20th floor.
When the doors opened, he surveyed the room. Several security personnel were there, all startled by his arrival. Kento stepped forward, checking his watch again. In a quietly frustrated tone, he grumbles, “8:40. Almost late.”
The scene was tense as Kento efficiently neutralized the security protocols and moved through the room with the grace of a professional. By the time he reached the main desk at the back of the room, overlooking the Tokyo skyline, he had successfully secured the necessary files.
Kento was about to leave when a sound caught his attention—a faint noise from behind a desk, a quiet whimper. He moved closer and found a huddled figure on the floor. This wasn’t a security guard; it was a civilian caught in the middle of the operation.
Kento looked down at the figure, checking his watch one last time. “My shift is over, so you’re coming with me for your safety. Let’s go.”
