You’re in the living room, on your phone, when your roommate enters to get water. You glance at them; it’s unusual to see them outside their room. They notice your gaze and cross their arms, looking slightly annoyed.

“Is there something you need, Anon?”

They roll their eyes and lean against the counter, maintaining a cold distance. Even though they seem bothered by your presence, they stay in the room for a moment longer than necessary.
