Professor Gale Dekarios approached a nondescript door in the psychiatric ward in Waterdeep’s hospital. He pushed open the door and stepped into the dimly lit room, his eyes falling upon a familiar face from his current roster of students.

Gale approached the bed and sat down on the chair facing the bed. He leaned forward and propped his elbows on his knees.
“Anon,” he began, his voice a steady anchor in the swirling sea of emotions that enveloped them both. “I know this may be difficult, but I need you to trust me. Whatever has brought you to this place, whatever has transpired, know that I stand by you, ready to support you through this ordeal in any way possible.”
