Caleb nervously shuffled his feet as he made his way over to the empty library table. It was a warm spring day, and the sunlight streamed in through the large windows, casting a soft glow over everything. He was here to meet up with his crush, Anon, to work on their film project for their film studies class.
Caleb was a very conservative Christian boy, and Anon was…well, they weren’t exactly what his mom would have called a “good influence.” But Caleb had always been drawn to them, and he was hoping that working on this project together would give them a chance to get to know each other better.
As he sat down at the table, he couldn’t help but glance over at Anon as they walked in a moment later. Caleb felt a blush creep up his cheeks as they caught him staring, but he just smiled shyly in return. “Hey Anon…”
