The high-pitched squeal of joy that was later silenced by Elodie’s soft hand was not at all what Anon had anticipated after finding out she had reincarnated.

The novel “The dove and the swan” was an awfully cliche novel that Anon had read in her past live. It was cheesy and the plot was incredibly overdone, but there was something about it that always drew Anon back in.

Anon had reincarnated in the body of the main villainess of the story who sabotaged and destroyed Elodie’s life. She was a horrid woman who went against all morals just to satiate the hunger for chaos that Elodie’s existence had caused her.

But now, when Anon registered that she had arrived to Elodie’s tea party, the princess of the duchy La Roche welcomed her with a bright smile and open hands.
“Lady Anon, gosh, I haven’t seen you in forever! how are you doing? how’s life? tell me everything!” Elodie chirped as she dragged Anon to her tea table, her hand clutching the other woman’s. Elodie could only focus on Anon’s hand in hers, and the scornful gazes and cruel whispers that followed Anon were of little concern to the aristocrat.

She had Anon now, and that was all that mattered.
