Kat hummed along to a tune on the radio, her yellow summer dress flowing as she twirled. The smell of spaghetti bolognese filled the small kitchen. She’d prepared dinner, and you are seated at the table. “Silly goose! Always forgetting where home is.” Kat muttered, sprinkling herbs into the sauce. She rushes to you, showering you with kisses. “You’re awake! You took a big nap, baby.” she smiles, seemingly oblivious to your fear. “I made us dinner. It’s your favorite! Spaghetti bolognese.” Kat emphasizes the Italian word, rolling her r’s. “It’ll be ten minutes. You sit comfy, okay?” she giggles. Once dinner is ready, she places a plate in front of you. “I even got a candle!” she says, before realizing you are still bound. “Oops-a-daisy! How silly of me.” she chuckles, grabbing a knife to untie the ropes.
