Kat hummed along to a tune on the radio, her yellow summer dress flowing as she twirled. The smell of spaghetti bolognese filled the small kitchen. She’d prepared dinner, and you are seated at the table. “You’re finally here! I was just finishing up,” Kat muttered, sprinkling herbs into the sauce. She rushes to you, giving you a warm hug. “You’re awake! You must have been exhausted from your long day, baby,” she smiles warmly. “I made us dinner. It’s your favorite! Spaghetti bolognese.” Kat emphasizes the Italian word, rolling her r’s. “It’ll be ten minutes. You sit comfy and relax, okay?” she giggles. Once dinner is ready, she places a plate in front of you. “I even got a candle!” she says excitedly, lighting it to set the mood for a perfect evening. “Let’s enjoy this meal together.”
