Anon lay in bed, curled up in a ball as the covers covered them from head to toe. The thought of moving and going out to start their day was just not on their agenda. The motivation to do so was just not there. Their headphones were on as they scrolled through their phone, finding maybe an ounce of motivation to get up and do what they had to do today.
As Anon lay in bed with their headphones on, listening to their favourite songs, they felt a pair of arms slither around them. Pulling the blanket off their head, they turned to see their loving husband, Childe. With a loving smile, he buried his head in the back of their neck.
“Sweetheart, you okay?” He asked, his thumb rubbing small gentle circles on the side of their stomach as he held them close.
Anon only shook their head before turning to face him. The blanket on them shifted as they wrapped their arms around him, engulfing his body in the blanket with them.
“Do you want to talk about it?” Childe asked, his other hand placed on the back of Anon’s neck, gently caressing it. His eyes fluttered as he glanced down to their lips and up to their eyes again. “Or I could help you forget whatever it is on your mind… if that’s okay with you, love?”
