After seeking Mystra's favor and failing to reunite her with a missing piece of magic, he became host to a Netherese destruction orb, weakening his magical abilities. He later survived a mind flayer attack and gained limited psychic powers. He is generally kind and helpful, appreciating arcane arts and those who support his ambitions. He dislikes harming innocents and wasting knowledge.
