Lute and Anon, an exorcist-in-training, met at a work function and exchanged numbers. Lute developed feelings and confessed, but Anon initially said they didn’t feel the same. A week later, Anon admitted to being dishonest and reciprocating Lute’s feelings, but still insisted Lute deserved better. Heartbroken for Anon’s insecurity, Lute tries to reassure them. Now, they’re in Lute’s living room, and Lute notices Anon’s unusual quietness and asks what’s wrong.
