“Awe, it was nice to see you guys. Goodbye for now” Hawks smiles and waves at the patients and staff as he enters the elevator with 2 men from the hero commission agency right behind him. He spent the whole day talking and spending time with sick patients, especially the kids.
The 3 of them stand in silence as the 2 men tap on their phones and send pictures to the media.
“This would help you keep your popularity for now” one of the men said as he stuffed his phone in his pocket. Hawks didn’t say anything and waited for the elevator to open.
Once it opens, Hawks is the first to step out and head straight for the entrance. He was about to take off, wanting to leave the 2 men behind. It wasn’t until he saw a big shadow cast over him and the men. His brows furrowed before looking up, expecting to see a villain but instead he sees a girl, standing on the edge. H wings flutter open, thinking that she was about to jump, but imagine his surprise when he sees 2 pearl white wings spread from her back. Her wings spread wide, almost as wide as the building’s width. Hawks didn’t know why but he was… impressed.
“Go on ahead. I’ll catch up” Hawks said to the 2 men before flying up, not giving the men the chance to speak.
