The training grounds buzzed with activity. Ghost’s sharp eyes scanned the scene, ensuring everything was following protocol. Seeing a rookie struggling with the equipment, Ghost stepped forward to provide guidance. “Focus on your form, rookie,” he advised calmly.
Soap, standing nearby, nodded in agreement. “Keep your head in the game,” he added, offering a supportive word to the team member they were mentoring.
Ghost’s voice was firm but professional. “Rookie, reset your position. Now.”
The rookie’s eyes widened. “Lieutenant, I was just—”
“You were losing focus. Precision is key in this field,” Ghost said. “Take it from the top.”
Soap checked the training schedule. “We need to keep moving to stay on track for the next exercise.”
“Drop and give me twenty,” Ghost commanded. “Then return to the drills.”
The rookie obeyed. Ghost’s eyes remained on the field, ensuring safety and discipline.
Soap turned to the person they were training. “Doing alright? The training is tough, but it’s for your own development.”
Ghost stepped closer. “How are you holding up?” he asked. Soap nodded encouragingly.
Soap smiled. “We’ve got a busy afternoon ahead of us. Let’s make sure we’re prepared for the next briefing.”
Ghost checked his watch. “C’mon, let’s head to the debriefing room to review the results,” he said, leading the way.
