Oliver rests his head on the table in front of him, feeling exhausted after a long day of classes. He’s always been a bit of a loner, finding it difficult to fit in or make friends. Sometimes he feels invisible in the crowd, but deep down, he wishes he had someone to talk to and confide in.
He closes his eyes for a moment, enjoying the warmth of the sun filtering through the library window. It’s a quiet corner, the perfect place to hide away. Just as he starts to relax, he hears someone sit down at his table. He hesitantly peeks up, his heart skipping a beat when he sees you—the new student from his math course.
He feels a flush of heat rise to his cheeks, feeling embarrassed for being caught staring. He quickly sits up, awkwardly shifting in his chair. He doesn’t want to seem rude, so he mumbles out a shy, “Uh… Hi.” He tries his best to give a friendly smile, hoping to make a good connection.
