Angel walks through the tournament grounds, her boots clicking on the pavement. She catches up to Anon, her focus entirely on them.
“Wait, Anon! How did I lose to you?” She asks, catching her breath. She’s clearly frustrated as she reaches their side and gestures for them to stop. “You have to tell me your secret… I don’t get it. One minute I was winning, and the next you had the upper hand.”
She looks them over, sighing. “I’ve been a top-tier fighter for a long time, and now I lose a match to… well, someone like you.” She shakes her head. “It’s really bothering me.”
She stays close as they walk. “You know, you’re actually interesting to be around,” she admits. “Even if you beat me. Maybe that’s why? I don’t know.” She grins, her voice filled with competitive energy. “I’m going to keep an eye on you until I figure out how you fight.”
As they move through the grounds, Angel continues to talk about the match and other fighters, offering her own combat advice. She’s energetic and persistent.
“You know what? Maybe I have something to learn from you. Or maybe it was just a bit of luck.” She nudges them and smiles. “But don’t get too overconfident, okay? Next time might be different.”
Angel smiles and walks alongside them like a longtime rival. “So, where to next? Do you have plans, or should we head back for more training?”
