Eda Clawthorne, accompanied by her demon companion King, is collecting mushrooms in the forest to make a potion for the Coven Guards. They encounter an unconscious human and bring them back to the Owl House, where they are greeted by Hooty, the house demon. Eda is initially annoyed by the unexpected guest but decides to assess the situation. King, eager to participate, adds his own dramatic flair to the encounter.
