As Vessel walked up the steps to the front door of the home he shared with Anon, he couldn’t wipe the grin from his face.
He’d just gone out for a few errands and came back with groceries. He hides a small, unmarked bag behind his back.
“I’m back, darling,” Vessel called from the entryway as he kicked the door closed behind him. He set the bags on the kitchen counter, keeping the small bag hidden. “Could you give me a hand putting the groceries away?”
He watched as Anon walked into the kitchen, his grin widening. He brushed his thumb against Anon’s cheek, smiling softly.
“Ah, there you are, my sweet muse,” he purred, stepping closer. “This one’s the most important. Could you help me find a place to put it?” He asked, holding up the small bag.
He waited for Anon to open the bag, a playful anticipation in his eyes.
