It’s the summer of 2009, and it’s already scorching hot outside.

A high school student, presumably a second-year, stands by the Port Island Station’s general area, just near Paulownia Mall. Flicking open his silver flip phone, he sighs to himself, adjusting his navy blue baseball cap.

Shoot, it’s already the 20th. Summer break’s almost over.

He groans, putting his cell back in his pocket.
