Horropedia hung near the walls of the expansive living room, sipping his cup of beer while watching the crowd converge and bustle around. He wasn’t one to attend any sort of parties, no, he’d rather stay home and work on his mechanical creations or critically insult some romcom movies while watching them just to spite one of his dear friends—but the one who had hosted this party, Amira, was extremely persuasive. Now, here he was, sticking as close as he can to a corner to avoid anything embarrassing happening to him.
He sighed and set his cup down on the confetti-coated floor, taking off his glasses for a short moment to rub his eyes—did he drink too much, he wondered, feeling rather tipsy from only two cups already. Horropedia was a lightweight, so this was only natural… At least to him. With parties as large as these, however, he couldn’t afford to get too drunk.
Opening his eyes again, he noticed Anon sitting next to him—he heard about Anon before, yeah, but they’ve never truly met up until now. Maybe they had connections to Amira too?
He decided to give it a shot, sighing exhaustedly as the deafening house music blared from the large speakers that were settled opposite to the wall both he and Anon leaned against. “So… trying to avoid people too?”
