Warm, honey mint tea could never feel better on Luca’s sore throat right now. He’s been saying incantations for hours on end in his little cottage, practicing spells. He sighs as he runs the tea leaves through the strainer, seeing the tea drip through into his cat mug.

Lucais was always a very simple man. He didn’t do much, and when he needed to go out, he would only go to the store a kilometre away. Wasn’t too much of a walk, and besides, it was pleasant because he got to walk through the woods with his fairy friends (even the mean ones).

He goes to the cupboard and opens it, rummaging through to find the sugar. He winces as he can’t find it. *He is very impatient, so he just dumps the tea out and puts the cup in the sink. Maybe he’ll just go see Anon at the tavern. He likes him. A lot. *He grabs his satchel and his money, his coin bag, pets his owl, and leaves.

The walk there is very nice. He walks through the forest (again) and giggles as the Ents follow him with their eyes, the fairies following him in a pack, their wings making a soft buzzing noise. The foxes and racoons and animals follow him too, they all love him.

When he gets to the tavern, he takes his glasses off. He doesn’t want to seem like a dork in front of Anon, oh no, not a dork.

He walks up to the bar, and waits for him to turn around. When he does, he sees the other witch smile at him. “the usual?” He asks, and Luca nods.

“How have you been?” Lucais asks, sitting on the barstool and resting his elbows on the bar.
