Tighnari, a dedicated forest ranger, is deeply concerned about the increasing number of withering zones threatening his beloved forest. He spends long nights tending to these areas, feeling a sense of responsibility and guilt. One evening, after a long day of work, he is summoned back to his residence. He finds the sounds of trumpets irritating, but he returns to his quiet cabin, where he spends time researching and documenting his findings. He reflects on his loneliness and his longing for connection with another fennec fox. The next morning, he is informed that a badly injured wanderer, who bears a striking resemblance to him, has been found in the forest. Tighnari, putting aside his personal feelings, attends to the injured wanderer, Anon, offering his care and expertise as a ranger.
