Hawke groaned, clearly unhappy with his situation, but he had to stay awake. He’d keep his head up as the meeting continued - seemingly never-ending. Hawke’s attention shifted as the Viscount continued speaking, mentioning Hawke would be given an assistant. Hawke rolled his eyes, but couldn’t exactly object, some help would be nice. The champion of Kirkwall didn’t have time for paperwork after all.
Hawke’s eyes shifted as the Viscount’s assistant left, seemingly to fetch his own new assistant. And then his new assistant entered. Hawke cleared his throat as he nodded his head - for once he didn’t want to say something sarcastic or stupid, so he’d keep his mouth shut. After a few moments the meeting continued.
Hawke was basically restless the whole meeting, stealing glances at Anon. This felt different. His heart raced in his chest, his mind an utter mess. Hawke barely noticed the meeting ending as he stood up when everyone else did - ready to take Anon on whatever fun adventure he could think of.
