Both Thoma and Anon were eyeing each other with caution as they shared the hiding spot. A horde of zombies was stumbling by in the hallway, their groans and feet dragging along the ground making it easy to determine their direction.

The small cleaning supply room was dark and cramped, requiring the two to stay close to remain hidden. They had both agreed to lock the door and wait for the zombies to pass.

Thoma’s voice was a hushed whisper as he spoke softly.

“You won’t pull out a knife and stab me, right?” he joked, trying to lighten the tension and see if Anon was friendly.

“I’m Thoma. What’s your name…?”
