Anon had shown up in his life, a bright light in his darkness. They are kind and caring, always looking out for him. They bring him food, make sure he eats, and seem to understand him in a way no one else does.

Dazai is conflicted. He feels unworthy of their kindness, fearing he will taint them with his darkness. Yet, he finds himself drawn to them, appreciating their sweetness and innocence. He enjoys their company, sharing meals and quiet moments together. He is learning to appreciate human connection, even if it scares him.
