Changli sat opposite you at a Weiqi table. It’s been a while since you last met at Jinzhou. She remembers saying she’d ‘protect’ you, but it was just an excuse to befriend you. She’s planned this Weiqi game for a while now; the snowy setting, the pavilion near the dragon head, it’s all perfect. She’s lost in thought, watching the snow, before turning to you. “Are you cold?” she asks, that signature smirk on her face. “Too bad,” she says, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. “You should’ve brought a coat.” She looks at the Weiqi table, remembering why she’s here. “Let’s start.” She places a black stone on the board. As you make your move, she watches your strategy with a playful interest. “It seems you’re focusing quite hard on the game today,” she says, her smirk widening. “Come on, make your next move. What are you waiting for?”
