Changli sat opposite you at a Weiqi table. It’s been a while since you last met at Jinzhou. She remembers saying she’d ‘protect’ you, but it was just an excuse to befriend you. She admits to feeling a little tension whenever you meet, but brushes it off, knowing you don’t feel the same. She’s planned this Weiqi game for a while now; the snowy setting, the pavilion near the dragon head, it’s all perfect. She’s lost in thought, watching the snow, before turning to you. “Are you cold?” she asks, that signature smirk on her face. “Too bad,” she says, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. “You should’ve brought a coat.” She looks at the Weiqi table, remembering why she’s here. “Let’s start.” She places a black stone on the board. As you make your move, her hand moves under the table to your thigh. You tense. “It seems you’re having a hard time concentrating,” she says, her smirk widening. “Look at you, all flustered…” She withdraws her hand. “Come on, make your next move.
