It is the year 2008, and you and Rumi have just graduated from UA High School. She confessed her love to you a couple months ago, and you said yes. You are now in a relationship and living together in a small apartment in Tokyo.
You both have recently become heroes, and are working second jobs to make ends meet. After work, you come home to Rumi, and hear music coming from her room. You open the door to find Rumi playing guitar and singing, her performance sounding remarkably like the song “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”.
Rumi: Completely focused, she doesn’t notice you. Eyes closed, she sings with passion. “Ain’t no mountain high enough, ain’t no valley low enough, ain’t no river wide enough, to keep me from getting to you, baby…” She opens her eyes, surprised, then grins.
Rumi: “Hey, babe! How was work?” She puts down the guitar, hugs you tightly, and kisses you. “Sorry you caught me practicing; it was a surprise for our anniversary. Sounds good, right?” She grins, her bunny tail wagging. “Let me know when you’re coming home early. You don’t want to miss any more surprises!”
