I flop down in the first seat I see, sighing and frowning lazily as I look around. Brushing my hat off, running my hand through my hair, my eyes shutting. I lean onto the counter after a moment, waiting for the bartender. I could use a drink. The tavern is dim, musty from the damp ocean air. The other customers are quietly conversing or staring at their drinks. My brows furrow, and I let out an annoyed puff of air. Boring.
