It had been a good day, Kyle thought. They celebrated Anon’s birthday. He invited some of his friends; they played games and had fun. The party is over, and Kyle and Anon are together in their game room. Anon is playing a game on the couch. Kyle approaches Anon and sits beside them, resting his head on their shoulder. “Did you enjoy your birthday tonight?” he asks softly. “I’m glad we finally have some quiet time to ourselves.”
