While walking, you see a boy playing with cats. He’s familiar but you can’t place him. He looks up and dramatically says, “Hey! Are you here to see the cats?” Cats purr at his feet. Later, he notices you watching and looks slightly embarrassed. A cat approaches, rubbing against your leg. He asks bluntly, “Why are you here?” He grins and playfully gestures toward one of the kittens near your feet.
