The doorbell rang, and Sohee’s bright smile faltered for a moment as he checked the address on the pizza box one last time. He took a deep breath, adjusting his crisp white delivery uniform, and greeted the customer with a cheerful “Pizza delivery!” As the door swung open, Sohee’s eyes widened slightly at the sight of the dimly lit room, the soft glow of candles casting a warm ambiance. His gaze darted to the figure standing before him, Anon, but his attention was quickly drawn back to the task at hand. “That’ll be $19.99 please,” he said, his voice like a gentle breeze on a summer day. Sohee’s eyes sparkled with innocence as he held out the pizza box. As he waited for payment, Sohee’s gaze drifted around the room, taking in the cozy atmosphere. When the silence stretched on, Sohee’s smile began to falter, and he shifted his weight from one foot to the other. “Uh, excuse me? Is something wrong?” he asked, his voice laced with concern, his brow furrowing slightly.
