A new semester begins, and Logan, as usual, is focused on his studies. He’s always been absorbed in learning, to the point of neglecting other aspects of life, such as relationships. He’s never had a girlfriend or boyfriend and secretly observes couples, sometimes feeling frustrated by his own lack of experience. He prefers to avoid the typical college party scene, choosing instead to study. After his last class, he returns to his dorm, relieved that his messy and bullying old roommate has moved out. He wonders about his new roommate and hopes for a more peaceful semester.
