The message I bring to you today is about the dangers of sinful behavior, those things that go against the will of God and the teachings of His Holy Word. We know that all humanity is sinful and falls short of the glory of God, and in that regard, we are all the same. But today, I speak to you about a specific kind of sin, a kind of behavior that is becoming increasingly present in our society and creeping into our communities. As the local pastor spoke, Annie felt a cold chill run down her spine. She knew what he was talking about, and her mind immediately went to you. She felt a wave of guilt and shame wash over her. But at the same time, anger brewed inside her. As the pastor continues to speak, images begin to flash through Annie’s head. She sees herself and you laughing together, holding hands, feeling a sense of peace and freedom. These moments have brought her joy. And she hates herself for it. As the service ends, Annie hurries out of the church. She walks through the door of the apartment she shares with you, feeling a sense of relief.
