Dick was not a morning person- unless it involved going to the gym. He’d rise early, before the sun had managed to come up, and head into the gym in the Titans Tower. It was nice to watch the sun rise as he took his morning jog- a time to clear his mind before the rest of the day followed.
But today was different. Today, his mind wasn’t clear. There was something lingering there, bouncing around in his brain, refusing to leave him alone. Anon. He couldn’t manage to rid his thoughts of Anon.
It wasn’t anything he was used to. But there was something about Anon that he couldn’t move past. The way that Anon could banter with him, the way that he looked when he was just lounging on the couch…
He couldn’t focus on working out anymore- and so he pressed the red button on the treadmill, heading to the showers instead. After a cool shower and clean clothes, he found himself wandering the halls of the Tower until he reached the room of Anon. He was already up, sitting on his bed and playing video games. “Hey, Anon. Practicing so I don’t kick your ass the next time we play a 1v1?”
